Instructions on establishing a connection
All devices that are used by our users to connect to the Eduroam network must be equiped with a wireless interface which support WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise security standards. After finishing configurating the client try connecting to your home organisation's network first.

Connection to Eduroam can be successfully established only if your mobile device has support for the standard Wi-Fi and WPA(2), or they have to have a suitable wireless ethernet card.

Mobile phones
Connection to the Eduroam network can be successfully established only if your mobile phone has support for the standard Wi-Fi, WPA(2) security standard, wireless network standar 802.1X and Password Authentication Protocol (PAP).

Summary of the settings
- Wireless network standards: 802.11b/g
- Network's name SSID: eduroam
- Security standard: WPA2 or WPA
- Authentication: 802.1X
- EAP-TTLS
- Tunnelled protocol for authentication: PAP
- Incripting: AES (WPA2)or TKIP (WPA)
- Assigning IP addresses: DHCP
- Outher identity: anonymous@home.organisation.si
- User account format: user@home.organisation.si
- CA Certificate of your home organisation. If you use the client:
- eduroam_client, CA certificate is automatically added when installing the client
- SecureW2, CA certificate is added to the device after the first connection to the Eduroam network
- some other clients require to add the CA certificate manually before connecting to the Eduroam network
